About me
Based in Surrey, I’m an HGV mechanic by trade, with a lifelong love for motorcycles, engineering, and the great outdoors. Working with machines is second nature to me — there’s something deeply satisfying about understanding how things work and keeping them running smoothly. But away from the noise and pace of daily life, it’s photography that gives me space to breathe. It’s my creative escape — a way to slow down, observe, and reconnect with the natural world.
My journey into photography began closer to home, exploring the amazing nature just within Surrey, this journey to find wildlife took me to the wild landscapes of Scotland and Wales. There’s something truly special about the wildlife here — the otters, the foxes, the many other wonderful animals that call this island home. Over time, my curiosity led me further afield, into some of the world’s most breathtaking environments.
I’ve walked among the towering sand dunes of the skeleton coast in Namibia and watched elephants move under the shadow of Kilimanjaro at sunset. I’ve trekked through the humid jungles of Uganda to witness the awe and power of the mountain gorilla — a moment I’ll never forget. In Norway, I’ve braved freezing winds and rugged terrain in search of the musk ox, and I’ve stood beneath the northern lights as they danced silently across the Arctic sky.
Through it all, I’ve come to realise that wildlife photography isn’t just about capturing an image — it’s about telling a story, respecting the wild, and preserving fleeting moments that so many people never get to see for themselves.
Whether I’m documenting the quiet beauty of a otter wishing Scottish loch or the raw power of nature in Africa’s wild heart, I hope my photography inspires others to slow down, look closer, and appreciate the incredible diversity of life that surrounds us.
